It starts here …....
Welcome Week Brochure
Congratulations on your decision to attend West Virginia University! We are anxiously awaiting your arrival to campus to introduce you to West Virginia University through our Welcome Week program!
Our goal is to help you make a smooth transition to college and to give you the best opportunity to learn about the many resources and opportunities available to you on campus. Welcome Week efforts are designed to help you get to know the people who are available to help you reach your goals, learn about being a member of the WVU community, and of course: meet other students!
Each first-year residence hall student will receive a copy of the Welcome Week brochure when they arrive to campus. Commuting students may obtain a copy of the brochure from E-Moore Hall.
Don’t forget to attend the University Welcome and Campus Information Fair on Sunday, August 23 @ 1:00 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum. Residence Hall students will attend with their RA. Parking will be provided for Commuters at the Coliseum.
Remember …. this is a required event for University 101/substitute courses.
For our returning students, Welcome Week is a chance for you to help our new students’ transition to West Virginia University and ensure a successful first few days of college.
Goals of Welcome Week
